Isn't this typical! After a cold dry winter which has seen crap fishing, we get to the last weekend of the season, which has seen some good southwesterly rain in the previous week, and it bloody snows!
Last chance at the river roach for three months: thermals here we come!

Think we're going to miss it in Norfolk, which makes up for the last few weeks.

I don't know how The Monk manages in the cold weather, wandering through the dim, dark, dank, dreadful, depressing streets of Manc Land dressed in his habit with an ice axe, two polecats and an owl for company.

And now it's started snowing!

And trying to dodge the ice axe nicking Scousers on each street corner.

Over the hill here mate, we are made of much sterner stuff, the scousers of course live on the other side of the Cheshire Plain within bow and arrow range

But I hear that the Scousers have developed raiding gangs into Manc Land these days to see what they can nick. They can do a whole street of cars of hubcaps in 5 minutes flat!

we keep an eye out for them, the first sight of a Morris Marina (with furry dice) 4 guys in shell suites with perms, big black tash and weird accents and they get turned around at Birch Services or a swift blow to the head with the old Ice Axe and fed to the ferrets

(although the ferrets are particular what they eat these days)

3 inches of snow here too and still throwing it down ......and we usually miss it all.
Never mind, the dog loves it ......

And yesterday in Massachusetts where they usually still have a couple of feet of snow around this time of year (it was -15 10 days ago in Boston))it was 60 degrees

The whole weather system is upside down ---I blame the Russians and Weather Engineering using Scalar Electromagnetic Weapons:

What snow?

We had a mini-heatwave this morning. Bright sunshine, very pleasant.

Not a hint of snow.
