Hi guys,..

Am thinking bout trying to squeeze a session in at Bury Hill going to the carp before the close season..

Do any of you guys know it ?

Ive only been there once before, but that was for the predators, so i know the layout n such, just need a few pointers..

Do they respond at all to spodding, or should I still be feeding small amounts winter style.. Also, are there any features other than the big island ?

cheers guys for any help you can provide.. it will all be appreciated..

Thanks again
Matt

Haven't been recently myself but judging by a post on another site you're best off trying Milton or Bonds Lakes not Old Lake. Reported action v. slow. Have you thought about trying Willingshurst instead fished Lake by cafe a couple of months ago & even on a cold day there were quite a few carp being caught. Try red maggotts worked for me!
