Nipped out yesterday afternoon (Lures) had 6 fish (pike)between 5-10lbs, also had 2 fall off, found Rapala supershad 140mm attached to M.Mouse trace and 10lb mono. Muppet deserved to lose it, nipped the barbs down last night ready for next time.

Q. Who uses ?13.00 lures on a 50pence trace with 10lb mono?

Muppets do! Levelspiker (Pete Austin) once found a Burmek (?16) attached to a jack that some idiot had tried to cast on gear not much stronger!

Did'nt a chap catch a biggie reported in the angling press earlier this year on a replicant (albeit trolling probably) using 15lb mono?
