Zander

I hope to fish the great ravely drain for zander in october. iv'e never fished for them before so any advice would be most welcome. cheers marlin.

Where's this drain and what's it like mate..? A good place to start is get hold of Steve Younger's book Fenland Zander - it goes into all the rigs, tactics etc.

cheers chris the ravely drain is asmall drain near huntingdon cambs and it contains zander that's all i know. a friend of a friend owns a house on it's bank and has invited me to fish unfortunatly he does not fish so i'm not sure of what tactics to use. I normaly fish the Yorkshire swale for barbel and Loch Ken for Pike. I have orderd a copy of the book you kindly recomended. Marlin
