Call me old fashioned but I still use Bitech Vipers.

As far as I know they haven't been made/sold for years and the problem I have is that I need an ali (aluminium) bolt set.

The plastic threads that were standard are useless because they wear out and aren't long enough, so when used with a swinger there is insufficient thread left to tighten up properly to the bankstick/buzzer bar.

Does anyone have any ideas where I might be able to get one from.

I'll ask in my local shop tomorrow morning.
They used to stock them and may have some left.

How many sets do you need?

I have 5 of them gathering dust in a cupboard somewhere and probably the ali bolts to go with them, I might try to rejuvinate them and give them to some needy kids

I know they're old and not trendy but as Carp Angler said on another thread "fish tugs, alarm bleeps", that'll do for me!

I e-mailed Bill but they stopped making them in 96 and sold the last ali set 2 years ago.

Carp Angler, any joy from your local tackle shop?

Can anyone else help?

I've just had a dig about and I've got 2 sets in my garage.

I'll ask in my shop on Monday.

If your shop doesn't stock them would you be willing to sell them? If so let me know how much you want for them and what the postage is.

The shop had sold out and yes I have 2 sets, one seems seized, but I would imagine with some TLC it would be OK and the other is perfectly fine.
