barbel in ponds/lakes

is it poss to get these lovely fish in lakes or ponds? cause ive been told there are some stocked in my local lake.

Commercials are stocking them. Anglers tend to be split into 2 camps regarding them being in stillwater though.

people who put barbel into stillwater? Nawh I dont think I will even start to go there Marks advice is probably best.

Bit old news again,isn't it Steve,we get them every year same old stories,the annual why should we have a close season rant,why should we pay for a licence etc etc...........yawn!
and is Bob's hair really his?

AH yes its all well and good going on about Bobs hair but the important part of this debate is























why should we pay for a license the EA dont provide us with tellies after all ;)

And if you tell the authorities you've got an EA licence and only watch fishing programmes, the TV licence people will still do you !!!!.

I don't like seeing them in stilwater and wouldn't fish for them knowingly in stillwater.
just my belief!!!
