cheap spod reel

I am looking for a hard wearing spod reel at around ?30. Any help?

Something like this will do the job.

I got a similar one and it was ok. Just upgraded though to a Daiwa Emblem Plus so I can now do more with it. Otherwise, the Okuma was fine.

Giant big pit?

ideal for a spod reel and not a lot of money

oops,cant seem to get the giant(leeda) one any more,so a wychwood one will be similar as Jeff says

i have a pair of these these reels they are the older versions of the dragoncarp euro 250's (now been superceeded) and are bigger than the new version and come with a spare spool,i've only used them three times since new,i found them too bulky for what i wanted them for (barbel fishing),so i'm going to put them on e-bay soon,now they're not the prettiest of reels but will do for spodding .i only want ?10 each if anyone's intrested.

They regularly go for ?50 or more, I know because the older type (a couple of models ago...) are such good reels I'm trying to replace mine with S/H rather than buy the newer model.
