Greys 14' GRX salmon fly rods

Been offered a great deal on this - last years model (not the GRXi model)... any comments about the rod welcomed please

I can't comment on the salmon rod but Grey's after sales service is exceptional.

Two years ago I bought a Grey's trout fly rod for ?73. This week I trapped and broke the top section in the car - my own fault.

I phoned Grey's and they said if I returned the broken section cut into 4" pieces in a jiffy bag, plus a cheque for ?20, they'll send me the replacement section. Amazing value.

Sounds excellent Keith but what are they going to do with all those 4" pieces? Glue them together?
