Off to Abbey Lakes on Sunday chaps, fishing Monday 10th to Monday 17th with Jaffa & Zorba.

Hopefully we shall have a few lumps between us.

I may even have one or two shandies too!

There will probably be a report and piccies to follow. ;o)

Nearly ready Malc, we need as much room as possible in your car for the beer!

Have a practice with your camera, so when I catch the picture is of top quality.;-)

The down side of it is that I may not have a job to go back to! They are making 5 redundant, and the B..etc. (sorry) would'nt tell me on the quiet before i finished today whether I was in or out!

I made my feeling well known to one of the supervisers, but..............

They will let everyone know next Wednesday - great, I said - or something like that! I'll leave the rest to your imagination!

So, if you know of any decent jobs going in Northamptonshire for thicko's like me, please let me know!

** One more trip to the gym tomorrow for me and thats me finely toned for lifting those whackers! ;o)

Never a good time for that sort of news, no point worrying about it mate. We will have a cracking week and forget about work.

Thanks Rik, everything sorted mate.

Re: the stella Rik, There ain't nobody to touch Zorba on Stella! I promise you. I like my beer - I will certainly go through 48 cans and a port (your fault that one) in the week, but Zorba (Gary), well, I have seen him drink 12 big one's in an evening and still be standing, that would kill me! lol

Plus I have to think of my new slim-line figure!!! Lost 36lbs now in 3 months!

It must be said Zorba is premier league when it comes to beer, no point trying keeping up with him. The man is not normal in his music tastes either, Lionel Ritchie will be playing all the way to Abbey. :(
