Hi all,
New on here so be gentle with me!

I'm looking for opinions as to wether or not people (especially carp anglers) think the market over in France is saturated re; guys/couples buying lakes and turning them into a carp-lake-business-holiday-thing.
Or is the carp scene so big that there is business enough for everybody?
Any opinions much appreciated.
Cheers

Welcome to FM

Are you thinking of moving in to the French carp market

I'd say there are plenty of estabished places but if you can stock BIG carp 40lb plus and plenty of them (cost is a factor) then you will attract anglers

i dont know if the market is saturated but if you google french carp lakes or something simalar there are hundreds,i cant see that they are all making good profits with so many to choose from, one thing that i do know for sure is that if you ring round some that you have found that have plenty of vacancies for the coming week [usualy on a thursday evening] you can get some deals on your fishing, its sometimes possible to find lakes with no anglers booked on, they are the ones to look for and make an offer to, better some anglers at a reduced price than no anglers at all.
