Place to fish

Hello everyone, me and a mate want to go on a carp fishing session for carp from mid doubles upwards in order to try and improve our PB's.We are only relatively new to big carp fishing so could any of you tell me of a good place to try in the west midlands/worcs area. Also any tips on the waters if you could please.
