hi all caught my first barbel 2 day at docklow pools in herefordshire it was only 1lbs but good fun can't wait 4 rivers to open so i can have a go at catching a bigger 1
Perhaps I was a bit harsh above ?
As chris says theres nothing like a barbel fight in running water and to see them in there right environment is great, hope it spurs an interest in river/barbel fishing for you .
