travelling to france by train with van

Any help / advice , we want to hire a big van and go Carp fishing just past Paris by train.

What sort of price are we looking at?

It will be a large 17 seater hired van plus 6 anglers.

How long did your journey take and where did you fish?

Does the train go staright to Paris or do we have to change at Calias or something like that?

yeah, the chunnel is get on at Folkestone and off at Calais, then drive to Paris.

Calais to Chanty (SW of paris) is about 3 hours by road and probably the easiest and most enjoyable drive you'l ever make.
The French roads are fantastic to drive on.
Fast, empty, with no jams, roadworks or all the sh1te that makes driving in this country so miserable.

As Rik says - just drive from Calais, it would be much easier. Its only about 170 miles.
