Salmon spinning reel

I have an excellent Moc Morgan 10' Salmon spinning rod but am not happy with the reel I am using. Any suggestions - prices?

The Okuma range are very good and a lot of the guys I know who spin for salmon use them. Go for a 5000 or 8000 spool, prefereably with a free spool facility.

Shouldn't cost you more than ?40 I think.

Personally I wouldn't consider a fixed spool reel for salmon spinning. A decent multiplyer like a 5001C is the way I would go ever time.

Better control over a fast moving silver tourist and greater casting accuracy by far.
