Pool off the A14

Hi lads on the A14 just befor you get to Cambridge from the midlands direction there is a pool on the left which has always got carp anglers bivvys round it anyone know what it is called and weather it is a syndicate water any info cheers.

If its Monk Sash, then yes a lot of BIG carp in there - BIG syndi fees too!

Almost certainly Monks Pit,at Godmanchester.
?675 a year,and stuffed with huge carp to big 40s.
Almost certain to do a pair of 50s this year.
Gets very weedy,is usually tricky,and bait boat dominated,but big catches are often made,with multiple 30s regular.

Yes Chris, I can confirm the above. I have 6 or so friends who are on there.

They are having a few big kippers too up to 38lb+

Almost all coming out on Cotswold Bait Creations 'UFO's, and one or two now being caught on Phil's new 'Kick'.

i was gonna say is it godmanchester....i pass it several times a week when on my way to cambridge in my truck....usually a few lads bivvied up there.

Cheers lads just I just see it every time I'm on way to work and back and wondered if it was a syndicate water. Nick to right there is always two or three bivveys round it.
