So who's finally going to Chatsworth this week end?

This is the day when we stock up on fly fishing gear, buy that latest new Sage rod, meet a lot of the guys from FM and generally have a good piscatorial day out.

Highlight of the day of course are the Welsh Oggies we have for lunch.

Oggies aren't welsh. They come from Cornwall. They were a traditional tin miner's lunch, which could be slipped in a trouser pocket and even - so tis said survive fall down a mine shaft.

They weren't all meat either. Traditionally they had meat at one en and jam at the other, so you got main coure and desert rolled into one as you munched through it.

I thought they were Cornish Pasties Chris.

They call them Welsh Oggies at the stall they sell them from.

How's your ankle Ed?

Ed,

I have just spoken the Dave Chilton.

He will be suitably attired in chinos, sports jacket, Tattershall shirt and cravat.

Topped with his RW trilby hat.

They don't let yobs in Ed, especially with scouser accents.

I shall be looking for a good walking stick on Sunday. I seem to remember a stall that sold them there.

I specifically want one with a sword in it for, keeping hoodies at bay........)
