I received the following e-mail from the Our Rivers Campaign, please visit the atatched link below and register your support:

Hundreds of you have already let the Minister know that you think rivers are important, but if you haven’t there is still time.................
We need more of you to tell Government to take action in its Water White Paper so we can address issues around abstraction – leaving more water in the rivers – and ensuring action on agricultural diffuse pollution, keeping rivers clean and wildlife thriving.

Have you sent your letter to the Minister?

With only 2 weeks to go until the Our Rivers Water White Paper petition draws to a close we want to make sure our voices are heard loud and clear to protect our rivers in the upcoming Government paper.
So far the Minister has received 894 letters to his inbox! We think you’d agree that 1000 would be far more hard hitting, making him stand up and listen to our asks!
Don’t forget to tell the Minister something personal about the river you really care about!

Done, probably be filed in 'deleted items' but the more the merrier!

This is one of the very few areas where EU interferance might get a positive result and make the Westminster Muppets do something for our rivers.

Done,
Applauded his gutsy stance, stroked his ego suggested taking a hard approach... why not impose the biggest fines for pollution Europe has ever seen?

Why not?
Nobody would object and we would all thank him for it! :eek:mg:
