Depends on what you want to do and where you want to fish mate.

Helicopter rigs for distance.

????Sliding bolt rig????

I think you have two rigs in one there smudge.

A bolt rig or semi fixed as it should be, is a rig where the lead does not move.

A sliding rig is a rig where the lead is free running on the line.

I'm a bit confused as to what you mean, so come back on with some more information mate. Some body will help you out.

Sliding bolt rig is basically a running lead with a semi fixed backstop to aid hooking.
Personnaly m8 i would choose which i deemed most suitable for the situation i am faced let us know the situation and people will help you out.

Something simple that you both understand and have confidence in would be a good starting point Smudge.

Dont get to carried away and confused by the latest "wonder"rigs mate.

Before you copy and use anything you should find out all about it ie how it works,why it works and why its used.
