Help wanted with Abu Reels

This letter was sent to Coarse Fisherman via FISHINGmagic. Can anyone help?

I would like to ask all your readers through your letter's page if they could help me. In 1987 I bought three Abu Cardinal 855's. I recently had a mishap and smashed one of the bale-arms. I have been in touch with Abu and Tight lines services, both of whom have told me that the reel is now obsolete.

I would like to appeal to any readers who could help me with this problem. If any one has or knows of the whereabouts of an 855 that's for sale could they please contact me at the above address. Any condition would be concidered as long as there is a bale-arm of course.

Yes they are 855's, I have a pair.
