Eric, I?ve just received my Shimano 5000 bait runner back form Felindre Servicing (SAS)for a service, cost ?13.50 and it was only away for 4 days and this was over the weekend. Excellent service.

I went for the Tackle Box in the end. It cost ?17:50 for a strip and rebuild plus postage. Took about four days and the reel works much better now. It just shows that you don't notice how reels deteriorate until you get them serviced.

It?s not the money Cakey, its less hassle sending it away. I?d have to strip my reel down decide which parts to replace, send away for parts then rebuild. Too much hassle, good web site though. I still like to know what I?ve paid for and the day may come when I don?t have the money. The sites now in my favorites, cheers.
