I witnessed an angler going fishing one evening on a local water,i presume he was doing the night as when he was returning from his car with the rest of his gear he had a 24 case of Fosters with him ?.
Surly drinking this amount in a night which i presume he must have, not only his but also the fish welfare must seriously be at stake.
I just thought what your views were now the sunny weather is trying hold.

Pointless thread from a poster with no identity and a nickname of prowler...

If you looking for bites why not go fishing with a rod and line... its a much better use of your time.

A 24 tin case for one nights fishing is absolute madness.

Youd need at least 2 cases.

I like to take:

2 bottles of Taylors finest port (and a lemon of course),

a bottle of southern comfort

a barrel of Exmoor Gold (hmmmm nice)

4 packets of crisps (2 cheese and onion two salt and vinegar)

a bottle of sherry to attract any passing ladies

a mobile disco just incase I fancy a little dance after i've had a drink

a wide screen LCD tv to watch the world cup on

and 1/2 a pint of red maggots, never go fishing without them.

You could be right about the half a pint of maggots beccy, I always find they unbalance the tackle barrow, causing it to steer to the left.

Just slip an extra bottle of malt towards the other side to even it up then.

Some of you lads do complicate things.

Aaah the voice of experience shines through yet again.

Anyone ever tried fitting optics to their pod or banksticks ? Got to be a winner.
