between banbury and oxford where are the hotspots and what methods should i use.
ps please state which angling club runs the stretch.

Only fished the stretch at the Caravan site at Kidlington which I think you can get a day ticket for. I didn't manage to catch any Chub or Barbel but a couple of people I talked to have caught on this stretch, Barbel up to 14lb if you can believe what I was told.
It is a narrow section ideal for stalking and the usual baits work. There are a lot of Crayfish so hard baits would be best.
I did have some good Perch.

Wish i had your cheek speci! But i would have insisted on a real ale pub to boot!
