A note of thanks to Graham Marsden for a copy of the above fly (I use the term in it's loosest possible sense) pattern.

Last 3 casts of the evening and I tried this fly. Lo and behold, 2nd cast resulted in a fighting fit 'bow of 2lb 12oz.

The scepticism in me soon left once I'd landed said fish and I'll be using this "fly" again. Goodness only knows what it imitates though!!!!!!!

Nothing fancy about it Sean, just a buzzer hook with a fluoro pink bead head and a fluoro pink body tied to half way round the bend at least.

It's not meant to represent anything, but there are times when it will outfish everything. Seems at its best early and late season, fished on a slow drift or under a bung.

Richard, it wasn't me that christened it that, it was the man what tied it. Our very own Mr Marsden!!!!!
