Morris dancing is not silly it's very serious.
And "The Wurzels" are my favourite group. Second favourite artist is "The Singing Postman".

I would have given anything to have seen The Wurzels live. All I had in SA were their records. No one else really appreciated their music.
On holiday once in England, I took the wife to a pub in The Cotswolds - Shipston-on-Stour is was, where they had a Morris dancing session with about 5 local groups dancing from 12 noon to about 7 in the evening.
I was enthralled.
She wasn't
Especially when it was obvious that by about 6-30, most of the dancers were far gone on the local ale.
As was I.
Fortunately the pub had a room vacant so we booked in and had a hell of a party with the dancers in the bar that evening.
