Newcomer to Ross on Wye area

Hi there,
I have recently moved to Ross on Wye and obviously keen to fish the Wye for barbel. Can anyone give me some good locations on the Wye for the Ross area. Also does anyone have any advice on what rigs and baits I should be using, I have been out of the sport for a couple of years so please don't get too technical with info you may have!

Hi mate. Go into Wye Angling in Ross, they,re very knowledgable on the Wye in there and they,ll sort you out.They also sell day tickets for a few stretches, and may be able to get you into Ross AC too.
