7:30pm - has been high 90's, now mid 80's...

and it's raining really heavily.

Real sweaty knickers day up here in the Dales, sure could do with some rain. Good time to get out on the river and do some reci work on finding the pertinent gullies and channels and taking a really good look at those tackle eating snags.

It's overcast here and there could be a drop of rain later.

Time for my Zulu rain dance. better be careful, the last time I tried that the country was flooded.

doesnt seem to have cooled things down though, its stopped raining, it looks a bit misable out there, but its still unbearably

Delayed the start of the British Open at Hoylake because of electrical storms and heavy rain overnight apparently. Not so much as a dribble here in the Forest of Dean, its not fair seeing as we are only 9 miles from the Welsh border and everybody knows it always rains in Wales.

Few bangs and crashes up here in the Yorkshire Dales, followed by a heavy down pour which only lasted 20 mins., just enough to knock the dust down.

Floods in South Yorkshire and now floods in the Midlands and South.
