Hi,
Wonder if anybody can help me.
A friend and I are planning a 2 or 3 day fishing break for around Sept / Oct time.
Because of our relative locations we would preferably like to go somewhere in the Home Counties or South Midlands area. The type of fishing we are looking for is general course fishing (neither of us can claim to be expert anglers !) and we would like the accomodation to be within walking distance of the venue; a pub with a stretch of river would be our idea of heaven !!!
Has any one got any ideas. All info gratefully received.

Many thanks

The Talbot at Knightwick in Worcestershire is lovely.

Fishing is for barbel, chub, perch, pike on the Teme or for anything that swims on the nearby Severn, float or leger.

Sept/ Oct should hopefully be good fishing on both rivers, rain please, rain please!

The Talbot has its own stretch of the Teme, and as important an onsite brewery!

Hope that helps, and I don't know the owners either! :)
