Fish deaths

does anyone know anything about yet another "legal" pollution incident on the thames caused by a discharge of sewage again, why is this allowed by the EA they should be discharged along with the sewage because they are also s**t.

It's on the TAC website. This seems to happen every time it rains!

Despite it being 2011, 2mm of rain is all that's needed for Thames Water to dump raw sewage into the Thames - the crown jewels of all English rivers, running thru our capital city.

We've posted pics up on the TAC forum and will try and get video up tonight. If you want to see footage of dying fish gasping their last whilst encrusted with human faeces then your luck is in. Fish of all species chose to beach themselves instead of suffocate in the water but you know it's bad when even the eels crawl up the foreshore to die.

Dissolved oxygen is still critically low on the tidal Thames this morning and the bubbler boat is out.

Who's to blame? Thames Water and successive governments who chose not to impose sufficient treatment requirements on London's sewage...preferring the Elizabethan practice of throwing it into the river.

If Thames water don't release this sh88 into the river it would back up into the alleged 1.8million residents lavs and eventually flood the streets.

Thames Water dont give a .......... toss, your wasting your time moaning, we all moan non stop about petrol, gas, electricity, crime on the streets , immigration, were English and nobody does nothing

PS, If it was killing otters birds etc nothing would still be done dont kid yourselves

Well at least you can't accuse them of not doing anything. They did this.
