I bought a pair from Leslies back in August, hot of the production line. I have to say that they are fantastic rods.They have a great through action, which can be a little unnerving as they make small doubles feel like 20s. I've lost count of the amount of times I thought I'd broken my PB, only to find a ten hanging on the end.
I have the 3lb TC models, and they have enabled me to improve my distance casting.They also handle the big chuck with the method, which should be really handy during the winter. I have a pair of Shimano big pit baitrunners on them and they balance well, but it would be nice to see what they are like with the new super baitrunner on them. All in all, a very good rod, and realistic pricing. I think the fake carbon on the reel seat is a bit corny, and could have been omitted, but other than that, they come well recommended by me..
