Went out too mt local lake yesterday too try my new "sleeper" rod set up. Armed too the eyeballs with hemp,PVDE groundbait and 12ml Halibut pellets i rigged up an inline feeder with a 8lb hooklength too a size 8 hook,with the pellet on a 1 inch hair.
had about 12 runs resulting in 4 landed fish.
The fish seemed too let go.Is this common?
Im wonderin if I should have let the fish run for longer,or if i wasnt strikeing hard enough or even if i should have been strikeing at all!
