One of Barrie Rickards' wishes, upon his passing, was for his fishing tackle to go a Angling/Fishing Museum.
The idea of a Museum has been circulating between a few people in the Angling world for many years.
I've just found the following virtual website that has been step up in the absence of the real thing. Sadly lack of a benefactor and premises are the main stumbling blocks, so if any knows of someone with a million or two to spare ask them to get in touch with Jon Ward-Allen jwa@fishingmuseum.org.uk or Andrew Herd anh@fishingmuseum.org.uk
The website is only in its infancy but I'm the authors would welcome info on anything fishy
