i was ledgering for carp or anything else my wife was float fishing using 2 maggots 16 hook 5lb line got a carp on she was playing it for about an hour went all over the lake just got it to the net then lost it she was gutted never caught a carp before must of been about 20lb

dont you just hate it when that happens, same thing happened to me on the weekend only my carp was only about 5lb, I was using 2.5lb line and size 18 hooks hook pulled after about 20 mins, those little carp dont half give it some welly particulary when they are in good condition
