I make my own bread pellets which can be hair rigged and stay on the hair really well without the fear of the bait coming off, i have fished these for years on the method feeder and done quite well, but i was thinking about fishing liquidized bread in a cage feeder with a short hooklink instead.
Has anyone tried this and if so was it any good.
I have been having a poor run at the moment using my usual methods and was thinking of something different to see if i can improve my results

do you mean leave it out in the water longer or use a longer hooklink?
The water is well stocked but maybe not as many carp as in a commercial but can be very goog at times in the right swim.

Try popped up bread

the same as a chod rig using a weight to keep the bread a set distance fro mthe surface - use flaot stops to hold the weight a set distance fro mthe hook - vary the distance to pop the bread up a different heights

I've been catching some nice bags of bream and roach with liquidised bread in a feeder with flake on the hook.
...not had any carp tho.
