HELP

I am new to PIKE fishing and I am looking for info on any decent PIKE water in my area(braintree essex).I will travel if I need to.
Can anybody shed some light on Suffolk Water Park & Ardleigh Resevoir.

Suffolk Water Park is a fair old hike for you. Some mates of mine from Ipswich fish it and seem to catch fairly well on lures. Midweeks are probably better because I think it gets quite crowded - I think they moved all the pike into one lake on the complex last season as well.

Ardleigh's probably a bit daunting to start with, especially if you haven't fished from a boat before.

How about getting in touch with your local branch of the PAC (Pike Anbgler's Club) and seeing if anyone can give you some gen on a couple of good waters to start on..?
