I have just spent the weekend Pike & Zed fishing the River Severn. Although I don't fish for salmon (that might change!)I have never witnessed the sight of so many salmon in an english river. There were that many several nearly landed in the boat.
I have seen this on Irish rivers but my excitement at seeing this on home waters relly did make for a spectacular weekend. I certainly have never seen such numbers of fish on the severn and wondered if this is now a regular occurence. I wondered what are the chances of ever seeing this on my local river mersey? But then stranger things have happened!!!!
