Flu is seasonal...It is mutating as we speak it will be back in one form or another

Probably the fact that migration finished so the spread finished John.


Mind you, in response to fishing magic complaints they have tightened up on immigration as well so mebbe thats put a stop to it!

Waterbirds were dying all over the Walthamstow Reservoirs in London a few weeks back when I visited. A post on another angling forum suggested Avian Botulism. Given that the consequences of AB are similar to bird flu - ie. dead & dying birds all over the place - I'm surprised that DEFRA haven't alerted the angling public to this possibility.
