I don't know if you have heard this, but last week Radio 4 featured a programme looking at the commercial side of angling. It can be heard again over the web by going to

An interesting programme. They quoted the average age of anglers as 40 which surprised me at first but on reflection this is probably correct.

Jon - heard it could not believe it ............

It appeared to redress the balance in the media. If all programmes where like this!!!!!!...... was I wrong?

Oops! No Phil I’m not. Guess that’s telling me. No Graham, not Wane.
Just hope Jon knows what he’s letting himself in for if he goes on a FM fish-in with you mate! Not for the fainthearted I can assure everbody. Take a GSOH with you and the thickest skin you’ve got. The urine flows a lot when you fish with GM, but its good fun and he doesn’t really mean any of it. Well I don’t think he does?
