i got a shimano aero hs from a car boot sale today but the spare spool the chap gave me,isnt the right one.
the correct spool for the reel is black with gold trim and has a purple rectangle with aero s-7 in it.
the spare spool he gave me is grey in colour with a silver label around the base with 4000 on it and the various line capicities etc... it also has an aluminium rim around the edge of the top of the spool.
it fits and works ok but to me it stands out a bit like a sore thumb.
has any one out there got a correct spool they could swap with me for the odd one i have???
