Exeter canal(basin) worth a go some good carp in there also Big tench and Roach. Best bet is to go into Exeter angling centre and they will put you on some good venues.

yep i would go for the mullet by the sea. look for the areas of flat rock or in a harbour style situation becase the mullt like the warmer clearer water. try bread on a massive waggler or a carp baggin waggler style you will have lots of fun!

go and put a thread on the sea fishin forum those boys will give you loads of tips on basic mullet fishing.

The Exe has dace, roach, bream and mullet. There are also day ticket commercials not too far away, mainly carp.

Rob try the tidal Exe, wag/stick and mag for a variety of species from dace to sea trout to mullet to grayling. Find the double locks pub and try the fields behind it.
