How about putting them on a nice Panama hat (cammo of course)! Ron, nothing wrong with bush hats, mines only the waxed Barbour type though, us poor southerners cant afford 'Roo skin hats
My mate has a very flat slim torch with a swivel head. He has had a wide piece of elastic stiched on the cap nib and he tucks it under that. He can switch it on then swivel the head down to any position and 3 LEDs illuminate what he's working on. It's featherlight and useful.
These are getting something like the same. Glad they've considered winter as well, but bet they can't put LEDs in my Russki hat!
"I'd want it so that the LED's point down below the peak of the cap, not in front of it." Says Jonny.
You can have both simply by having the hat further forward or further back on your head. If it was tilting downwards all the time it wouldn't suit those anglers who don't want to change hats/torches for packing up and walking off.
I have just read the review, it?s a great idea!
But, why haven?t they made a pair of y-fronts to match the hat with little lights in so you can have a pee pee when fishing at night and not slash down your legs and stuff, or get your todger nettled!
Sounds like a great idea. I notice Badger are doing a clip on light set but it struck me that may tend to get in the way as it hangs down below the peak, this is better. My only concern is similar to Jonny's my eyesight is such that I need to focus my headlight very carefully to the correct focal point by adjusting it in use - it would be useful to actually try one of these caps out, is it going to be available through shops or only by mail order?
