Well, looks like the wye is my new mistress!!!

Just spent a few days on the wye, first day a barb 8.1lb (2oz under my p.b.) and five chub, four of which were over 5lb!!! (5.12 a new p.b!!)

Then on the second day, a barb at 8.6 (another p.b), then a chub bang on 6lb (beating yesterdays p.b!!!!), I felt like tony miles!!!!!

Best weekends fishing i have ever had, going back very soon!!!!! (only had two other chub one at 2.5 and one at 4.14. What do they put in the water, steroids?)

Shame about the canoes though......

Your're not wrong Steve!!!

I thought that it would take me years to catch a chub of that size (pretty chuffed with the barbel too!!!). I can honestly say that was the best weekends fishing i have ever had (cant wait for next time!!!)

I did see and hook a much bigger chub last season on the river mole, but my hook pulled out.....but iknow where he lives!!!

Proper Chub, Marcus. Cracking looking fish. Barbel's a beauty as well.

Ace!!!!

Just found out i'm off for a five day trip to bulith wells in two weeks, just fishing!!!!. fingers crossed for a seven!!!
