I am due to fish a local club match on the trent in Shugborough (The steps by the sports field) this sunday.
I have only just got back into fishing though I have over 30 years exp under my belt - I wondered if anyone knew this stretch and had any useful tips?
It seems to be fairly narrow with slow weeded water under your feet and a pacey mid section shallowing out to the far bank
