Have used the old version of these rods, a good workhorse rod, but dont expect miracles. Am now using the Badger Black Shadow rods, three for around 60 quid, not the thinest rods in the world, but they do the required job admirably.

Sot the 2.3/4 tc one and have had no probs. can cast 100yd+ if set up with the right reel and line. I would buy one again.

Original Sensor 1.75tc absolute beauties.No street cred but excellent rods, not just for carp

Perfectly useable rods - I've got 3 of the 2.75lb ones for carp & pike and 2 of the 1.75lb for smaller stuff. Other rods in a similar price bracket include the Shimano Hyperloops and for a few quid more, the Nash Outlaws are cracking rods.
