Hi all, can someone please tell me what is the difference between a twin tip leger/feeder rod and one with interchangeable tips. I want to try out legering but I don't have a leger rod, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Generally a twintip rod will have 2 top sections which will make 2 different rods eg one at say 1.25lb test curve and one at 1.75lb test curve. One of the tops may even be an Avon type top for float fishing. The feeder rod with interchangeable tips is just that, the same top section that takes different strength quiver tips depending on the flow/undertow. If just starting out I would recommend a feeder rod with interchangeable quiver tips. This would more than likely fulfill nearly all your needs for the forseeable future.
