After many years of having this fantastic registration plate gracing my fathers vans and cars he has finally decided to retire and let it go to someone else!

I think he means.
LOB as in worm
573 as 5.73 " long
and R = Regular as in small regular large.


So he drives round in a car stating he likes worms almost 6" long that are of a regular girth. Wierdo.

As my teenage daughter would say, DURRRR. It's LOBS(5)T(7)E(3)R, i.e. lobster. Or am I missing the humour here?
