elasticating a pole

i have recently been having problems with the elastic not retracting back inside the top section of my pole so i came to the conclusion that it needed new elastic so i purchased all the bits needed but found that on one of the top kits that there was no ptf so that was purchased i now find that the diameter of the pole is thinner than the bush such is the taper of that top kit that i would have to cut down a little more than i want has anyone any suggestions how i can overcome this please cheers david

There is a simple solution David, take the bush back to the shop you bought it from, and take your top kit aswell, so you can get the correct size mate;-))
