The past couple of times I went there, I had nice, relaxing, sunny BLANKS. Thankfully this was finally not the case yesterday.
Me an my mate got there around half nine (unfortunately I slept through my alarm, was originally planning on getting there for 7!) and we stayed until 5ish.
We ended up having a good day. My friend had a couple of bream and 3 nice mirror carp out. I got 5 or 6 bream, 2 crucians and a nice chunky tench. Neither of us have been fishing for long, so I can't tell you how heavy we reckon they were.
I have a feeling one of the crucians I caught must have been a hybrid because it looks a bit weird. I have some pictures from the day but I'm having trouble uploading them as the iPhone app I'm using is saying that they are unsupported files. I'll post them once I figure it out
All in all, we had a fun day
