daft question.....when making/crimping your own traces,can you buy crimping pliers from any good hardware shop or are they only things that a tackle dealer sells???

I would get the Fox crimping pliers, I have a pair myself and they are the DB's giving you the perfect crimp. Sell for about ?9.99.

Nick, I agree with Nick,
Fox's pliers are excellent. I use drennan slim crimps and wychwood 30lb or drennan 28lb and they are the D.B's (sorry Steve, no pun intended ;-0)

Nick I've got a pair of the Fox pliers too (honestly) and they are the D.B's. It is so much cheaper to make your own and I trust them more, because I've made them.

Nick,the fox ones are certainly the DOGS BOLLOCKS!!!!!.Dont buy any mate i reckon i have a spare pair lying around somewhere.You`re welcome to them.I`ll try and dig em out for sunday.
