I haven't posted for a while I've turned into a bit of a lurker but i had such a good day fishing with my kids saturday i had to tell someone.

louise age 7
I took the kids fishing with their own rod for the first time saturday, I setup a little stick float for river fishing.
the wife said you can take them but dont expect to be out long as they will get bored and will want to come home.
well i left 7.30am and got in 3.30pm
louise caught 8 fish including a sea trout, brown trout and grayling all on her own. Louise also hooked and lost what looked like a big trout of a couple of pounds.
tom caught 8 fish which i hooked for him and let him reel them in.
They had a brilliant day and didn't want to come home and it was all they talked about for days
