River Tame, Two Gates, Tamworth

i live on the estate right next door to the river tame in two gates, tamworth. as its only a 1 minute walk away it would be nice to fish it, but im unsure as to wether im allowed? i've got a rod licence and i've heard that that is all i need to fish the river on the side of the bridge that my estate is on, but am not allowed to fish on the other side as it is a members only stretch. i live on the old probus site if that helps, where the reliant robin factory was.
does anyone know, or if not is there any way i can find out?

I would ask at a local shop, check for signs/notices find out who the landowner is and also ask other anglers mate!

If its a free stretch of river, it might come up on a google search, I am sure there is a 'free waters' type website knocking about!
